Thanks to Mike Acres donation of a Pioneer 450, it got me interested in restoring old saws. My first saw restoration was a Pioneer 450. All the parts are original right down to the Pioneer chain and paint specially mixed to match the factory colours. I even went as far as hand painting the bar with factory "Durarail" log to give the saw as much authenticity as possible.
I also have a Wright GS 5020 A blade saw and a Sthil 076 saw. And many more restorations to come. Feel free to contact me anytime if you want to talk about old saws.

I just finished my second project, a Pioneer model 600. It has been rebuilt completely, having been stripped right down to the bare crankcase with new seals, bearings, gaskets installed. There are colour differences in the pictures but the paint is matched to the original Pioneer pale yellow colour.
